Why Obscuritas
Independent by design.
Obscuritas Press began as a home for books that did not need a committee's permission to exist.
Small by choice, we value distinctive voices, thoughtful writing, careful design and books made to be kept.
Read our story“Some books need a large publishing house. Others simply need someone to believe they should exist.”
